Established since 1981 Printplace is a supplier of all types of general printing to private individuals, commercial firms and public bodies. We supply full colour printing for stationery, leaflets, brochures etc. but can also supply traditional black on white work particularly for business forms and self carbonating work.

Prices given on this website are for printing only. They are average prices based on our standard delivery service. VAT is extra where applicable. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment;
1. Account customers 30days nett.
2. Otherwise payment on collection.
3. We reserve the right to require payment with order or a deposit.
We accept cash, card, cheques, bacs.

The customer can provide their own artwork or take advantage of our full artwork service. Artwork originated by us is chargeable by the hour according to the time taken.
Existing artwork on our files:
1. Existing artwork on our files which requires no alterations - charged for printing only.
2. Existing artwork on our files which needs amending before printing will be charged according to the work involved.
Artwork provided by the customer:
1. If the customer provides artwork in a PDF file in print ready format no charge is made for artwork.
2. Artwork provided by the customer which requires further work by us to put it in print ready format will be chargeable according to the work involved.

It is the customer's responsibility to proof their work. Proofs will normally be provided by email unless agreed otherwise. Hard copy proofs will be available on request at our shop. Hard copy proofs which have to be posted to the customer will incur a charge. Checking Errors found which are our fault will be corrected free of charge. Correcting customer's errors, omissions or alterations will be chargeable according to the work involved. If you instruct us to print without proofing at any stage, any errors or omissions in the copy or layout will be your responsibility.

Turnaround times are always expressed as working days, which exclude weekends and public holidays. They depend on the nature of the job being printed and customer choice of service level.
If a proof is required turnround times always run from:
(1) the time the customer approves the final proof and gives the go ahead to print, or
(2) provides their own print ready file.
If Go-ahead is given, or a file delivered, after 3pm on any given day it shall be counted as a next day event. When ordering, customers should allow for any artwork required, plus proofing, when estimating when their job will be ready.
Our standard printing turnaround times are about five working days for most items. Items requiring finishing such as invoice books may take longer.
Express delivery services are offered for many products. If you are in a hurry for your work please let us know when ordering.
Budget services, with slower deliveries and cheaper prices, are also offered for some items. Under no circumstances will time be of the essence of the contract.

If requested FREE delivery can be made direct to the customers premises subject to certain conditions.
1. Direct delivery will be made at no extra cost but the recipient must be an established account holder with Printplace or the goods must be paid for at the time of ordering.
2. Delivery will only be made to the reception area of the customer's premises on the ground floor.
3. Customers must be available to take, and sign for, delivery throughout the working day from Monday to Friday.
It will be the responsibility of the customer to chase up failed deliveries.
